II.
In Hawaii a wedding ceremony may be held
at any state or county beach or park for free.

For example, if you'd like an outdoor cermony, you may have your wedding ceremony held at any state or county beach or park for free, but remember that the general public will also be sharing your location as well. In Hawaii there many such scenic and romantic spots to consider. For example, on Oahu, there's Waikiki's Kapiolani Park which has great sunsets. At this park you can have Diamond Head as the background for one wedding picture, and then have Waikiki Beach in the background of another.

Whatever size wedding you're planning, there are professional
planners and coordinators to help in Hawaii

Whether your wedding in Hawaii is going to be a large formal indoor affair or an informal outdoor ceremony, there's a lot of help in Hawaii when it comes to planning and coordinating this special day, if you decide not to handle all the wedding planning yourself.

In Hawaii, many wedding planners and coordinators are marriage license agents as well. Thus they can handle many of the wedding legalities for you. They can also arrange other wedding details for you, from finding an official or pastor to conduct the ceremony -- to setting the ceremony's decor. Wedding planners/coordinators may charge $500 and higher depending on the involvement you desire of them and the type of wedding you have in mind.

On the Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau's website, there is a complete roster of reputable wedding planners (whatever your wedding budget) endorsed by the Bureau. This website is -- www.gohawaii.com

Once on the Bureau's website, follow the link entitled "Weddings & Honeymoons".

Almost all the big resorts in Hawaii also have full-time wedding coordinators on staff, who can also take care of your wedding details. Also, it should be noted that even the less costly hotels and condos, and even some Bed & Breakfasts, are able to recommend wedding coordinators and planners who've proven themselves to them. Feel free to inquire.
